You will still earn Community Net Metering Credits and you’ll see them on your monthly Pepco bill, but your monthly budget billing amount will not be lowered by your monthly community solar credits.. You will only see your community solar savings when your budget billing annual reconciliation occurs. You will still have to pay your CleanChoice Energy community solar bill for the value of your credits earned each month.
- Xcel Energy - Yes, your Community Solar subscription will be affected if you sign up for Xcel’s Averaged Monthly Payment Plan. You will still earn Community Solar credits, but your bill credits will no longer appear on your monthly Xcel bill.
Instead of seeing savings monthly on your Xcel bill, you will only realize your savings when Xcel completes its annual Solar*Rewards Community true-up in March or April depending on your meter read cycle. You will still have to pay your CleanChoice Energy community solar bill for the value of your credits earned each month. - BGE - No, your Community Solar subscription will not be affected if you sign up for BGE’s Budget Billing program.
- ConEd - No, your Community Solar subscription will not be affected if you sign up for ConEd’s Level Payment Plan.
- Delmarva Maryland - Yes, your community solar subscription will be affected if you sign up for Delmarva’s Budget Billing program.
